Forget the Google Pixel 9; Exciting New Details About Pixel 10 Just Leaked.

While you might be eagerly awaiting your new Pixel 9 Pro XL, the latest news is all about the upcoming Pixel 10 series, set to launch next year.

According to Android Headlines, the code names for the new models have been revealed, hinting at what Google has planned for its 2025 lineup. The Pixel 10 series will include four models: the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

The code names for this series are as follows: “Frankel” for the Pixel 10, “Blazer” for the Pixel 10 Pro, “Mustang” for the Pixel 10 Pro XL, and “Rango” for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Additionally, the forthcoming Pixel 9a, expected to debut in spring, is code-named “Tegu.”

While these code names may not reveal much, it's noteworthy that Google continues to offer a smaller Pro model with features comparable to its larger counterparts—a rarity among competitors like Apple and Samsung, who often reserve key features for their larger devices.

Another highlight is Google’s commitment to launching its foldable phone alongside the rest of the Pixel lineup for the second consecutive year. After the independent release of the Pixel Fold in 2023, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold was introduced alongside the other Pixel 9 models this past August.

Details about the Pixel 10 series remain limited, but these devices are expected to be powered by the Google Tensor G5 chip. Given the minimal camera upgrades in the Pixel 9 lineup, significant enhancements are anticipated for the Pixel 10 series. Improvements in battery life and support for Qi2 wireless charging are also likely, along with new color options.

The Pixel 9 series has generally received positive reviews, with the Pixel 9 praised for its design and build quality, and the Pixel 9 Pro noted for its enhanced battery life. Our reviewer called the Pixel 9 Pro XL the “best Pixel hardware yet.”

Look for the Pixel 10 series to make its debut in late summer or early fall next year.
